In 1968 three congregations, the Spring Valley Christian, Evangelical United Brethren, and Methodist Churches came together to form Faith United Methodist Church. One of the newly created church’s first priorities was the construction of a building that would be large enough to accommodate the newly merged congregation, which numbered over seven hundred persons. In 1972 that building was completed and consecrated, a beautiful, fully handicapped accessible facility that is in near constant use by the church and community.
